We meet at Spotlight Dance Studio in Downtown Renton on Sunday afternoons. In Issaquah on Wednesday evenings.
Class descriptions:
Intro to Irish Dance: This class will introduce and explore the basic concepts of Irish dance and learn exercises that support your body through Irish dance. This class is designed for dancers with little to no Irish dance experience.
Irish Dance Training: This class will cover specific skills, mechanics, and exercises to improve your Irish dancing. Some units will last several weeks: posture, turnout and crossover, toe height, etc. Some weeks, we will learn set dances and apply the specific skills we learned in prior weeks. The focus is to prevent injury and increase stamina for feis events and performances.
